The UC Davis Men’s Rugby team embarked on their first tour across the border in over a decade, traveling to the University of British Columbia in Vancouver to play their third side.
Immediately after arriving on Friday, the Aggies had the chance to take part in a joint practice with UBC. The match took place Saturday, where both sides looked to assert their dominance over the other. It was a tough and physical game from beginning to end, but the Aggies managed to extend their lead as time expired. The Aggies walked away from the pitch with a 10-0 victory over UBC!
Although only one match was played, the players took time to explore Vancouver in its entirety. Many players visited the Vancouver Aquarium, the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, and Stanley Park. Not only was the tour a great chance to compete, but the team-building was irreplaceable.
